Christmas is here again!

This year has flown by. I finished the sweater from the last post and I have a picture of it in Flickr. It came out great and my niece loved it! I have another knitting project in the works that I need to finish for the spinners party after Christmas. It is more difficult that I thought, so it might take me a while.

Camden

We took a bike trip to Camden on Saturday, July 26 to use up a gift certificate that I won at the annual meeting in April. It was for $25 and I bought the yarn for a sweater for my niece for Christmas. I think the colors are great and I am really looking forward to knitting this sweater!

Sugarloaf!!!

Here we are again at Sugarloaf! We spend One weekend every July at the condos, just sitting and spinning or knitting. I was not able to go for the whole weekend, but did manage to get up for one day to socialize. It was great to talk to everyone again. Hopefully, I will be able to go next year. I did manage to take some pictures of everyone doing what they love best. Have fun everyone! I will think of you!






Next year, I hope to be able to spend the weekend again.

School's Out!

School is finally out for the summer! We had 9 snow days, so we had to go to school until June 25th. The kids got out June 20th. My own two children actually finished June 17th. But, I plan to put all that behind me and get to work on some of my projects. I finished my ruana, and am now working on a sweater for my youngest son, and a sweater for my niece who is due to be born July 10th.

I am spending the summer with my gram who is now bedridden and needs help with everything. I am hoping I will have a lot of time to knit and spin. I will try to post here more often and let you know what I am working on.
